An interactive session focused on mitigation methods to fill the gaps of the partner Local Councils representing plantation communities in Nuwara Eliya District was held on 25th of March 2024 at Windsor hotel Nuwara Eliya. Secretaries from partner Local Councils and officials led by the Assistant Local Government Commissioner of Nuwara Eliya participated in this session.
This program organized by the Federation of Sri Lankan Local Government Authorities in partnership with the Strengthening Social Cohesion and Peace in Sri Lanka programme (SCOPE) co-financed by the European Union and German Federal Foreign Office, and implemented by GIZ.
Followed by an interactive session focused on mitigation methods to fill the gaps of the partner Local Councils representing plantation communities in Nuwara Eliya District was held on 2nd of April 2024 at Kotagala Pradeshiya Sabha.
