An awareness program on the “Urban Development Authority Act” was recently conducted for Technical Officers of local government institutions in the Western Province. Held at the JAT Holdings Auditorium in Thalawathugoda, this program was conducted for officials in the Local Government Department of Western Provincial Councils with facilitation from the Federation of Sri Lankan Local Government Authorities. The resource person for the program was Ms. Indu Weerasuri, the former Deputy Director General of the Urban Development Authority. This program was fully sponsored by JAT Holdings PLC.
