The Citizens Charter is a major policy tool used by local governments that establishes the level of service that the public should expect, outlines accessible grievance-redress methods, and encourages transparency and accountability in the administration. During Phase I, FSLGA assisted six local governments in revising their citizen’s charters to document their commitment to religious freedom protection. FSLGA will use the same participatory method to help the six more Local Authorities revise their citizen charters through Coexistence Committees and consultation sessions.
